Time for a bit of Christmas inspiration! Only a week to go, just enough time for some little projects like these- and definitely time for some baking (scroll down for baking inspiration!).
From the top: Christmas tree napkins, Amigurumi crochet reindeer, Handmade gift labels, Christmas Bower bird (pattern from Attic 24)
Christmas is the perfect time to try out some new baking ideas. It’s one time when you can go really over the top and extravagant with the decoration (making sure the flavours are still scrumptious of course- gingerbread flavoured cupcakes with cinnamon cream cheese topping anyone?). Here’s a few of the treats I made last year to hopefully inspire you. Some are unblogged unfortunately but if you have any questions feel free to ask me!
From the top: Snowman Christmas Cake (unblogged- buy very easy to do), Gingerbread house (also unblogged), Chocolate Yule log cupcakes, Frozen cupcakes, Gingerbread cupcakes.
Finally if you’re still looking for some last minute gift ideas this is a really simple, easy crochet gift. This little clutch bag is perfect for make-up or you can add a strap and it’s perfect for an evening out. The pattern is available free on Ravelry here. I added a silver button to mine and hand stitched a starry blue fabric lining inside to finish off the glamorous look.
Happy crafting for Christmas everyone!
